International Oromo Cultural Institute which works on the development of cultural sign MOU with Laureate Tsegaye G/madin Research and Cultural Center of Ambo University. The signed MOU is to develop the Art, Music and Culture of Oromo.

Geda is a traditional system of governance used by the Oromo people in Ethiopia developed from knowledge gained by community experience over generations. It serves as a mechanism for enforcing moral conduct, building social cohesion, and expressing forms of community culture.
Horses are an integral part of the Oromo People’s Culture, providing an invaluable source of transport. This pretty Oromo horse is all dressed up for a parade or festival.
Irreecha is chiefly a thanksgiving festival celebrating the end of the winter and monsoon months in Oromia region in the south-central area of the country.

activities, and capacity building and leadership development training.

The Oromo Cultural Institution aim to collect, preserve, explore, present and promotes the cultural and historical heritage of Oromo People in Ethiopia and to offer their services to all and regardless of age, race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability. Indeed, not only their collections, but also their history and buildings, are a cultural asset that are enriching local communities. Understanding how crucial their work is to society and cultural sustainability as well as how the unique value to Oromia Regional State in Ethiopia.
To provide young Oromo intellectuals with capacity building and leadership development training.
To provide recreational service for youth (sports, cultural shows, games, etc.) educate them to reduce juvenile crimes.

Bishoftu
In the middle of a collection of lakes sits the small resort town of Bishoftu. A charming town, with a number of pretty hotels making full use of Bishoftu’s lakeside location.
Kuriftu and Babogaya
